Eyes On Design Awards to Recognize
Top Automotive Design
January 6, 2017 -- Honoring the best production and concept vehicles
making their worldwide auto show debut in Detroit, the EyesOn Design
Awards will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 10 at 4 p.m. in the Cobo Center
Atrium. Media and the public are invited to attend the 11th annual awards
presentation, the officially sanctioned design awards for NAIAS.
Considered the validation of great automobile design from the industry’s
leaders, the EyesOn Design awards are prominently displayed in design
studios around the world.
Award winners are selected by more than 30 active and retired design heads
of automotive manufacturers and transportation design chairs from top art
schools. Serving as chief judges will be Dave Marek of Acura, Kevin Hunter
of Toyota’s Design Studio; Calty Design Research, Michael Simcoe of GM and
Jack Telnak of Ford Motor Company (retired).
The 2017 awards will be given in the following categories:
