SEMA 2016: Electric Power Steering from EPAS is a simple conversion for classic Mustangs.
System has the same basics as current model cars. Uses original steering column, steering gear. Converts either manual or PS.
Dumps all that hydraulic ("leaking") stuff, reduces weight and gives all that space. Less than $1500 direct from EPAS.
