Here’s a Mustang/Shelby/Cobra/Ford GT overload for you!

The 39th Annual National Convention of the Shelby American Automobile Club was held last weekend at Road America in Elkhart Lake, WI. Shelbys, Cobras, and Mustangs from all over the country came out to take a few laps on the historic race course. It was downright cold - thanks to my friend Bill Cook, you can enjoy the Convention on your computer screen in the comfort of your own home – you don’t even need to bundle up! Open-mouthed smile.

295 pictures I took, and over 800 that Bill took, plus, Bill arrived a day earlier than I did, and took 150 pictures at Bob Perkin’s Restorations shop in Juneau, WI. I had already made my plane reservations before I found out about the open house tours at Perkin’s, and at Jim Cowles’s Shelby Parts and Restoration shop in Green Bay. Sad smile Maybe next time......
